First I have to say, the detail is top notch as usual. I love seeing your work evolve with each piece. Second, I have to be honest, this one doesn't translate into block like the others do. The work is superb but I just wish it would have been instant "omg it's so and so!" Like the others have been. No offense intended, I just wanted to throw that out there!

I agree, and I believe it's because it is a female figure. I tried making her head about 5 times, and this was the best one. The block-style head almost instantly creates the illusion of a double chin, and that isn't as forgivable with a girl figure. Same goes with the body. As a result, she comes out looking a little overweight/masculine.

Maybe if her head was a bit more circular or oval-like. She looks slightly like a drag queen because of the strong jaw line she has. Just a thought.

Circular or oval-like? I think you've missed a big part of the style I use. Can't tell if she looks like a drag queen, or Rumor Willis. Eh, I have a couple months to get it right.

I know the point is that they're blocky, but maybe you need to tweak it for the ladies? You'll figure it out as always.

That's exactly what it is. Still though, excellent quality. Maybe lady characters weren't meant to rock out with their block out haha! Or maybe this is just another exciting challenge for you!

Agreed. I still like it, but I mostly made her out of necessity. I'm taking part in a show, and said I'd make a few Scott Pilgrim figures. Ramona is practically required! Also, her figure doesn't photograph well. I think it looks better in person.

That's absolutely understandable! Good to hear you're finally selling them. I do conventions and shows all the time and this is certainly the kind of thing people will freak for!
